Instagram just rolled out the option to have your Reels, static posts and carousels indexed by search engines. It means your content can now reach people outside the app, across Google.
So, let’s check your settings.

We’ll be testing this across client accounts, and our own to see how much of an impact keyword placement has. We’ll be adding keywords to the bottom of captions, that way, we protect brand voice and reader experience without compromising on SEO value.
If you want to optimise your own content:
→ Clean up your bio
→ Add relevant keywords to your captions and bio
→ Mention your location if you’re a service-based biz
→ Use descriptive alt text when posting (you’ll find it under Advanced Settings)
